Eagan Varsity Claims 1st Win of the Season in OT

Playing on the stadium field at Farmington High School, the Eagan Boys Lacrosse Varsity squad came up with their first win of the season in an overtime thriller!  After falling to Burnsville and Eden Prairie in early season games, the varsity team continues to gel as they battled through a hard fought game against the 1-1 Farmington Tigers to win near the end of OT by a score of 10-9 on a Jacobson goal.  Senior Zach Jacobson also led the Wildcats in scoring with 6 goals, while senior captain Colby Sorenson added 3 points (1G, 2A) The Cats were also helped by keys goals from junior AJ King and sophomores Kennan Wilson and Mike DeMarchis.  Junior goalie Logan Kolehmainen went the distance in net with a .53 save percentage for his first varsity win.  

The Wildcats will travel to Lakeville South next Tuesday at 5:30 to take on the 2-1 (2-0 in the SCC) Lakeville South team fresh off a 16-11 win over conference rivals Rosemount.
