From the 2018 Wildcats Boys' Lacrosse players, coaching staff and Booster Club, welcome to another exciting year of lacrosse.
The 2017 season was another successful one for the Eagan boys' lacrosse teams. Our 9/10 team was undefeated (again), our JV team went 11-1-1, and the Varsity won the Minnesota high school state championship with a 19-12 victory over Benilde-St. Margaret's, finishing with an 18-1 record.
With a strong core of returning players and an exciting crop of newcomers, the coaching staff has its sights set on a return trip in 2018.
The Eagan Wildcats Boys' Lacrosse Booster Club supports the Wildcats Lacrosse program through fundraising and volunteer projects that create an atmosphere in which coaches and players can achieve success on and off the field.
Run by volunteers -- parents of Eagan High School freshman, sophomore, junior and senior lacrosse players -- the Boosters help make a robust program possible with a variety of contributions, including:
As a spring sport, we begin our fundraising and other work early in the year in order to be ready once the season hits. We'll start on Oct. 9 with two important meetings.
At 6 p.m., we'll have our New Parent Orientation meeting. This meeting is great for incoming freshman families and any parents with a son new to the program.
At 7 p.m., we'll have our first monthly Booster Club meeting, at which we'll discuss changes for this year, volunteer needs and important dates for parents and players.
Both meetings are in Lecture Room A at Eagan High School.
Year after year, our club has been blessed with the best parents and volunteers around. It all starts at our monthly Booster Club meetings, so we hope to see you there.
The Boosters would like to thank the businesses, sports organizations and individuals in our community who have given their support to the Eagan Wildcats Lacrosse Program. Our special thanks to the coaching staff and the many volunteers who make the program happen.
President, EHS Boys Lacrosse Booster Club
